I wasn't sure about nettle when I first tried it about two years ago, but last year I made nettle risotto picked freshly from my allotment plot and the nettle was rich and packed with real flavour. This year, I made nettle gnocchi, very similar to yours, and it was lovely. I can't beleive I am saying this, but I do think that stinging nettle is perhaps my favourite green weed. For anyone who has not tried stinging nettle yet, I encourage you to do so.
