Hi, Robin here.

I am the founder, editor, and publisher of Eatweeds, a foraging guide to the wild edible plants of Britain.

The Times listed it in their Top 50 websites for food drink.

I am the author of:

I also run a small, private online foraging community called GATHER! It’s for foragers, herbalists and anyone who loves plants and wants to deepen their plant knowledge.

I write about foraging, wild food, and wild wellbeing.

What I am doing now

Recently BBC Countryfile ranked me as #1 foraging teacher in the UK. So apart from running foraging courses for most of the year, I spend the rest of my time helping the lovely people inside the GATHER! community.

That’s when I am not out and about taking photos, writing, researching and experimenting every single day with wild edible plants.

I’m an introverted obsessive by nature!

Nice things people have said about me

“Robin Harford is so passionate about foraging. What he doesn’t know about, it isn’t worth knowing about.” – Richard Corrigan / Chef and Great British Menu judge

“You transported us to a whole new level of awareness of the relationship that is possible with our natural environment. Your enthusiasm for this relationship with nature simply boils over in floods until we were soaked through to our very souls.” – Richard & Debbie Stansfield

“Robin is a brilliant communicator” – Naomi Cleaver – Channel 4 & Sky TV Presenter

“Punk ambassador for the plant kingdom, Robin’s infectious encyclopedic enthusiasm is borne from complete commitment to his chosen field. He imparts practical wisdom with engaging confidence, nurturing embodied understanding to lay open the mysteries of the cornucopia at our feet.” – Michael Kusz
