Visitors from Diary of a CEO – welcome
Let’s talk about plants. And people.
Every month, Simon Mills hosts a conversation that used to be common in every village. It’s called Herb Hour.
An hour of practical, plant-based wisdom with Simon Mills — one of Britain’s most trusted medical herbalists (bio below).
A chance to remember what your grandparents knew: that plants can help. And that you can, too.
The problem.
Most of us were never taught how to care for ourselves, or our families, using nature’s tools.
So we rely on pills we don’t understand. We wait until things get worse. We feel a bit helpless.
That’s where Herb Hour comes in.

Simon is not new to this.
He’s been a practicing medical herbalist since 1977 — and has spent his life at the forefront of integrating traditional plant medicine with modern science.
Cambridge-educated and internationally respected, Simon co-founded the first university Centre for Complementary Health Studies in the UK.
He’s co-authored key textbooks used by herbal practitioners around the world and helped shape policy at the highest levels, from medical schools to the House of Lords.
But more importantly: Simon knows how to explain things clearly. And he believes in giving people practical tools they can use at home — safely, simply, and with confidence.
Who it’s for?
- People who want to understand their bodies better.
- People looking for options.
- People who trust plants — or want to start.
Herb Hour is not for those looking for a quick fix or silver bullet.
But if you’re curious, open, and want to learn — you’ll feel right at home.
