The way of the forager
Foraging is an ancient art—a slow and graceful way to feed and sustain ourselves—a deep journey into self.
Foraging is a gentle way to come to our senses. A way to experience the world and the plant kingdom through new eyes.
A wondrous journey into the beauty, mystery and awe of the natural world, that comes by walking the green path.
Nothing is more fulfilling than wandering around, picking a bit here and there.
Then return home and prepare scrumptious food for loved ones and friends.
I have spent countless hours pouring over arcane books and thousands of scientific papers to dig out the unique ways our ancestors used wild food plants and edible ornamental plants.
I travel a fair bit and hang out with traditional cultures (often on the brink of extinction).
This allows me to report to you the worldview these peaceful cultures live through and their deep, intimate relationship with plants.
Ways of living with nature that we need to pay attention to if we are to return to a healthy balance with the earth.
I am excited to share my knowledge with you.
