What’s the difference?

There are two main options for learning about wild plants:

Edible and Medicinal Wild Plants of Britain and Ireland (The Yellow Book)

  • Covers 48 plants
  • Four pictures per plant
  • Brief, field guide style
  • Perfect for beginners
  • Easy to carry while foraging

The Seasonal Trilogy (Forage in Spring/Summer/Autumn)

  • Covers 45 plants total (15 plants per season)
  • Four pictures per plant
  • In-depth information including:
  • History
  • Uses
  • Recipes
  • Food and medicinal properties
  • Better for home study than field use

Which to choose?

  • For beginners or quick reference ? Get the Yellow Book
  • To study plants in detail ? Get the Trilogy
  • For complete knowledge ? Start with Yellow Book, then add Trilogy later

Most of my work goes to newsletter subscribers only. When you know some plants, Domei comes next.

A simple, quiet practice built around giving one plant your full attention without an app or a cushion or the need for a belief system. Some call it 'zen in work boots'.

If you seek a deeper relationship with plants, and a desire for kinship with the living world, sign up today. Arrives in your inbox every Thursday at 8am.
